This quote is more and more true with each passing generation. We have the technology to travel anywhere we want on this planet in mere hours, yet we have made the planet toxic and polluted in doing so. We have more amazing people in our lives than ever before, yet we only bond with them through screens. We can have revered food delicacies shipped to our own dining tables from all of the most ancient human cultures of Earth, yet we eat junk fast food fried in industrial lubricants. The art and science of aging and human health is more advanced than ever, yet we care for our bodies like cheap used cars.
There has never been a better time for us to see just how long we can actually live if we push all the right buttons. Young people today could be the first generation to have the ability to live for multiple centuries. This has been the recent prediction of many reputable scientists and researchers. When you look at the exponential evolution of technology, you have to believe it can be possible.
For those interested in tapping into the rapidly evolving anti aging technology, the number one priority is to take care of your body like royalty. The more years you live, the greater likelihood that you will live to see whatever the first version of “biological immortality” looks like. Biological immortality is achieved when the cellular replication process of our cells can be maintained infinitely through time. You would live for as many eons as you could manage on Earth, a moon or Mars. This does not mean that you are safe from death via killer bee swarms, zombie attacks. Anyways
How Do I Stop Aging Already?
There are two different categories of techniques that we will have to use if we ever hope to accomplish biological immortality.
1. Natural Evolutionary Methods- This involves love, healthy relationships, consistent exercise, spending time in nature, eating high quality fresh organic foods, supplementing with natural anti aging compounds, meditation and other stress management techs, high quality deep sleep, happiness, etc. This is extremely important in that the human body is natural at its core, thus the base of human health care must be natural if you want true results.
2. Technological Anti Aging- These are scientific methods that include gene therapy, stem cell therapy and cell culturing among vast other technologies being developed now. These techs, while not natural to us, are the only real answer to biological immortality in humans. Why?
Nature is infinitely intelligent, nature knows that change and adaptation is the answer to survival. This is why we humans replicate and then die. Out with the old, in with the new. This way we have the flexibility to adapt and evolve as a whole.
Though I see great potential and benefit in living for a thousand years. How much could you learn from a sharp, youthful 1000 year old great great grandfather? Certainly the wisdom would change humanity for the better.
So How Do I Make Sure That I Make It To The Age Of Immortality?
You must use natural anti aging techniques to slow the process of aging down. Once the technology for immortality is here, jump on the train, if you have the money to afford it.
To slow down the process of aging, we first need to understand what causes biological aging. It can actually be broken down into 4 basic cellular processes which can be effectively treated naturally.
1. Oxidation- Think of rusted iron, this is oxidation and the same thing happens to your cells. This process is simple to stop using powerful antioxidants which I will discuss.
2. Inflammation- Now think of getting a cut, the skin around the cut swells and turns red. This is inflammation, the body sending destructive white blood cells to disinfect and clean up the cellular debris. Though necessary, it is a process that damages and ages the body and it occurs low grade throughout the whole body. Fortunately, inflammation is also very easily shut down using a few natural methods.
3. Glycation- Glycation involves glucose becoming bound to the proteins that make up your tissues. It is literally like coca cola getting spilled on your kitchen floor and gunking up everything. It damages the cells and causes them to function improperly. Glycation is a bit tricky but it can be prevented and even reversed using natural compounds, this well studied.
4. Methylation- Methylation is more complicated, but it does not need to be completely understood to be optimized for anti aging. The body adds methyl groups to change genetic sequences and to alter compounds in the body. If the body does not have enough “methyl donors” methylation cannot occur and this results in damage and aging. Fortunately this is simply treated naturally as methyl donors are consumed through the diet and can be supplemented.
So, briefly, how do I not die from oxidation, inflammation, glycation and methylation? How do I survive to the age of immortality? Let me share the most powerful natural methods that I have been practicing and studying for almost a decade.
Stop Oxidation- In order for life to exist, it had to create a cheat code to beat oxidation called antioxidants. Oxidants cause oxidation (rusting/breakdown), antioxidants lend a free electron to neutralize the oxidant, the cells can go on living undamaged. So what antioxidants are most needed and most powerful? Vitamin C, E and A are at the top of the list because they are antioxidants and if you did not consume them, you would soon die. Once you have all of the necessary vitamin antioxidants in your diet, you can go after the heavy hitting antioxidants. The most powerful antioxidants are astaxanthin (pigment that makes shrimp, flamingos and salmon pink), cloves (spice), chaga mushroom extract, maqui berries, cacao (raw chocolate bean) among many others. These are some of the most broad spectrum and powerful but every single herb and spice are filled with antioxidants. In addition, a fresh variety of organic fruits and vegetables offers a wide spectrum of antioxidants. Eat or supplement plenty of these morning, noon and night to make sure that you always have plenty of antioxidants in your body.
Stop Inflammation- Chronic low-grade inflammation through the entire body is the slow killer and it is happening to you right now unless you are clever. Fortunately this is as simple and easy to stop as was oxidation. Herbal anti inflammatory medicines are extremely effective and also act as antioxidants and anti-glycators as well. The number one most powerful anti inflammatory by far is turmeric extract (curcuminoids). It is so powerful that it has made Alzheimer’s drugs look useless in comparison. The issue is, it has a low bio-availability (absorption into bloodstream) and half life (how long the compounds stay in your blood). To get around this, find a turmeric extract that includes piperine or “bioperine” in it which increases turmeric’s absorption by 2000% in studies. Also make sure to eat it with fatty food since the active compounds can only be absorbed through the stomach with oils. Take this two or three times a day to compensate for the short half life.
Another equally powerful way to shut off inflammation is cold therapy. Being cold shuts down inflammation as fast as lightning. Think about icing down a swollen injury. Start with alternating hot/cool showers and slowly work towards turning the nob all the way cold, then, if you’re tough as nails, ice baths. If you are not tough enough for that, you need to stay on the turmeric extract at a minimum. An alternative is ginger root which has powerful anti inflammatory effects but without the absorption issues of turmeric.
Stop Glycation- The body has its own mechanisms to stop glycation, but these defenses are slowly beaten through your lifetime. Though you can beef up your glycation defense and even reverse some types of glycation. The body protects its cells from glycation using a compound called carnosine. Carnosine can be greatly increased in your cells through oral supplementation. 1,000 mg per day seems to be a good dosage.
There are also some powerful herbs which have been well studied to inhibit glycation. Some of the most powerful studies herbs against glycation in the body are rosemary, cloves and allspice. Astragalus is a great anti-glycator to add since it also one of the most powerful anti aging herbs known. Cinnamon is another great one and many other herbs and spices have some anti glycation properties. This is why I recommend everyone that cares for their health gets into herbalism.
Methylate Like An Immortal- To make sure that your body is able to methylate the toxins out of your body and methylate your DNA properly, load up on methyl donors. The most basic methyl donors are actually vitamins, mostly in the B vitamin family.
Folate– Folic acid supplements can be dangerous as most of them actually are not a usable form of the true vitamin and interfere with true food derived folate utilization. Take folate as 5-formyl tetrahydrafolate to get the true benefits of folate. I recommend 200 mcg to 1 mg dosage.
Vitamin B6- Any form of B6 will work. 5 mg per day should work but you can take up to 250 mg.
Vitamin B12- Take B12 as Methylcobalamin, not cyanocobalamin. Remember we are looking for methyl groups, not cyanide groups. This is not as well absorbed and you may need 1 to 2 mg per day.
Betaine- This is a powerful methyl donor and can be supplemented at 500 to 3,000 mg per day.
If you are going to take some of the B vitamins, I recommend you take all of them, as they work together.
Some anti aging herbs that help methylation are goji berries, schizandra berries and beet root.
Conclusion
We will need to solve overpopulation eventually, but having 1000 year old mentors will just be too awesome for humanity to deny. If you want to live for a thousand years, first you need to make it to one hundred years. If you can do that, you might have a decent chance. Get to one hundred by putting a stop to the 4 natural killers, oxidation, inflammation, glycation and methylation. The rest is down to humanity continuing a healthy civilization cycle without collapsing. From there we rely on scientists and private medically oriented corporations leading the way in health advancements. Oh yea, if we get there you are going to have to put off retirement for a little while.
